My relationship with photography
My father's camera was the first step on this path that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Sunday mountain trips became magnificent opportunities to practice landscape and people photography. We created albums on the computer, and every few years, I always returned to look at the photos.
Then my first camera arrived, a Nikon beginner's pack, which I excitedly accepted as a gift from my parents. It was with this that I realized that photography is only half the job; the other half is color editing. I spent my afternoons learning about color theory alongside my homework.
University started, and so I continued my training in this field, along with film and graphic design, while discovering the endless neighborhoods of Madrid. I did my internship at Fnac Madrid as a graphic designer, and that same summer I traveled to Switzerland as a photographer for a very special summer camp in Crans-Montana. When the opportunity arose to stay in this town, I decided to stay, learning Swiss customs, this time as Visual Media Coordinator for Le Régent International School, where I continue to learn every day while working on what I love most: photography and design next to really talented people.
It's here, after participating in so many activities and photographing so many faces, that I realized that portrait photography is the most special to me, as each person is a world with a different story, where the gaze is capable of telling its own story if you're lucky enough to pay attention. This website shows a little bit of who I am and the projects I've had the opportunity to create or be a part of.
